Jessie Kaleikau (she/her)

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon and Alaska. I’m from the only Native reserve in Alaska and am Alaskan Native and Pacific Islander. On my island we only have access to 2 in person mental health facilities. Growing up I saw a need for more help by our own people, so I decided to get involved when I was in high school. I started my career at the local community mental health facility at 17 years old as a peer intern. Once completing my internship, I was promoted to a behavioral health aide (BHA). I worked as a BHA for 5 years under licensed therapists and social workers throughout my high school and college career. There I learned more about therapy, intersectionality, community care, community outreach, and administration work. Once I graduated with my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Fort Lewis College, I worked at the facility full-time for 9 months before moving to Oregon to pursue my Master of Arts in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling at George Fox University. I have worked with children, teens, adults, and families throughout my time in the mental health field. This includes various volunteer, internships, and coursework I did throughout my time at Fort Lewis College and graduate school program. Currently I have my own private practice in Oregon where I work with teens, adults, and families struggling with anxiety, depression, life changes/stressors, relational issues, and trauma. I also work with sexual assault and domestic violence survivors. You can click here to learn more about my therapy practice. I will be adding my therapy information to this website in September 2026.

In addition to working at my private practice, I also serve as a mental health therapist and consultant for a school district in Alaska. I provide the district with one-on-one therapy with students and serve as mental health consultant for the school district and their employees.

If you want support with your school district, non-profit, or business with learning more about mental health and multi-cultural components, please reach out and we can discuss how I can best support you.
