Therapy fee information

Intake sessions are $220

Individual sessions are $200

I’m in-network with the following insurance plans (for Oregon residents):

  • Providence

  • Regence BCBS

  • Aetna (OR and AK residents)

Please be aware of your benefits when working with a Licensed Professional Counselor. If you have questions about co-pays, co-insurance, or session limits please contact your insurance and ask them about your mental health outpatient with a provider or psychotherapy benefits. Insurance information will be required at the time of consultation to verify your benefits.

I’m currently licensed in Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. I can work with clients who reside in any of those states.

  • I accept credit or debit cards, cash, check, or HSA/FSA cards which is due at the time of session. Please note that if you pay with cash or check, that will need to be done in person. There is a pro-rated rate on documentation, consultation, or other services outside of the therapy room.

  • If you’re paying for therapy out of pocket, you can receive a superbill. A superbill is an itemized receipt to submit to your insurance if I’m not in-network with your plan. Depending on your insurance benefits, you can be reimbursed by your insurance. Your reimbursement depends on your benefits and is between you and your insurance. Please check your out-of-network benefits when working with a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Mental Health Counselor. If you request a superbill please note that you will need to pay the full session fee. If you’re using your an HSA or FSA card you will need a superbill to submit to your insurance.

  • I meet with people in person in Oregon or virtually. Offering in person and Telehealth sessions can help with flexibility and comfortability. I’m licensed in Oregon, Alaska, and Washington and can meet with people who are physically located in either of those states.

  • If you’re in the state of Alaska or Washington, sessions are virtual. For WA and AK clients, I can offer a superbill to help with reimbursement as I only accept Aetna insurance for Alaska clients. For other insurance plans, I can provide a superbill to help with reimbursement. You can look at your insurance plan to see what your out-of-network benefits are.

  • I require 48-hours notice for canceled sessions. Any cancellations after that, or if you don’t show to session, will result in being charged the full session fee. I understand things may come up, and make exceptions for emergencies or illness. If you need to cancel, please let me know right away so we can discuss further. Scheduling and cancellations will be discussed further during the intake session.

  • Intake sessions are 75-90 minutes. Standard sessions are 50-55 minutes long.
